gcw Beautiful Boy (2018) Quite a sombre look at a parents fight to save his son from a serious drug addiction, based on a true story. Steve Carell plays the father of Timothee Chalomet, both actors put in a strong performance I thought.

Amps Oldboy (2003) I reckon 16 year old Amps would have quite liked this and thought it was some proper edgy tale of revenge, but 46 year old Amps thinks its just okay in a pseudo John Woo kinda way. 2.5 wild as fuck octopus eating scenes out of 5
Along_the_Wire Dark City (1998) - recommended to me as decent sci-fi - enjoyable watch, but it’s a bit of a mess and has so many plot holes. 6/10
Phil-McRackin Project Wolf Hunting. Lots of bad people trapped on a ship with an experimental Japanese super soldier left over from the war. Hilariously violent and very enjoyable.
Dubman Sisu A Finnish John wick who is a gold digger during the 2nd world war takes on the Nazis. A pretty violent caper. 7/10
gcw Duel (1971) I’ve always loved this, and hadn’t seen it in a while. The concept, the cinematography, the lack of dialogue. 9 horn toots out of 10 IMO
