Watched Punch Drunk Love after many years, completely forgot multiple plot points and just how good Sandler is in it. Insanely good, his rage switches are nuts. Also it’s very tight, 90 mins give or take, was surprised when it ended. Was watching a few PTA interviews from the time, can’t fault his coke head, smug, better than you vibe. 9.2 / 10

Homegrove I watched this yesterday - it was a terrible, terrible film. The fire FX looked like low-budget computer game cut-scenes. There isn’t a single redeeming feature about this film other than my missus falling asleep during it.

Commando (1985) was celebrating it’s 40th year on Saturday so we gave it a whirl and binned it after 50 minutes as we knew the dialogue backwards. I prefer the musical version.

FAO people who like PTA-movies, Boogie Nights is coming (tihihihihi) on 4K at the end of the year. WB is releasing it, not a boutique label, so you can also get it digitally, not just a 4K Blu ray (which I WILL be buying).

One Battle After Another is a brilliant film, absolutely loved it. Saw it on my own too, so no stupid question or muttering things I can’t or don’t want to hear. Easily the best film of the year. 9/10
