Are there any reboots, Wal? Love me a reboot. Especially something like Batman or Spiderman. Crying out for an annual reboot, those two.

Millsy Give it a year or two and I reckon they can have multiple versions / universes running side by side. There could be three or more Batmans to choose from when you: campy 60s batman reboot, dark moody batman reboot or other batman who keeps appearing in other peoples films but now has his own franchise reboot.

Did anyone read Zackster’s Avatar post?

No. His new JC avatar is a thing of beauty though.

As is the ride @ Animal Kingdom

I’d probably throw it in that blue thing.

Only if she gave you head first, Zack.

While I’m nowhere near as bad as Xpander, I do have my moments of racism, Zack.

Watched Handmaiden last night, the Korean film (available on Netflix). Intricate, clever plot about a woman with a large fortune and a man trying to marry her to get his hands on it. Throw in a bit of lesbianism between the rich woman and her handmaiden, and you have a film the JC film review committee will love. In some ways quite similar to Parasite - twists, dark atmosphere - this is without a doubt one of the best films I’ve seen this year (though is a few years old). 9/10

Gremlins. Had not seen it on this century, loved it. A true Christmas-classic, the puppet-work was amazing still.

Watched it not too long ago with my boy and he loved it

Jules72 I think this and Burning (also Korean) are the two best films I have seen for as long as my shitty memory can stretch back to.

Pearl Harbour. The first 7 hours are OK but it starts to slow down a bit in the final third.

Jules72 Grant and I don’t see eye to eye very often on films, however I think we both agreed that Burning was a complete waste of time

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. Must be my 5th time watching it, yet didn’t feel like checking my phone once during it, it kept me hooked so well still.

You can always rent it from Google or iTunes. Probably for two pounds or so.

That’s obscene. Whoever owns that can die and whoever buys it can die twice.

LOL I saw the first one of those in the movie theatre. The place was going bananas. Those movies are funny. I don’t care how juvenile they are.

jonattonyeah Saw one of them again the other week, you forget how brutal some of it is. Steve O smelling some guys farts who them shits down the tube. Grim.

Old man balls surely the best thing Jackass have done…

jonattonyeah I saw the first one on a Virgin flight to the US - I went for a piss during it and it was dark, but everyone was watching and everyone was pissing themselves - it was an excellent experience.

Makes me laugh like Muttley and brings tears to my eyes every time

Tennis meltdowns are also great. Must be something about playing a solitary sport where you’re on your own. Not good for the psyche.
