Dunkirk.
Throughly depressing and watchable at the same time.
I thank the lord I wasn’t on that beach, though tbf, my bants may have lightened the mood.

Soul… the product of a very creative mind… some of the scenes with vectors as he’s plunging through realities are incredible. Funny and heart-warming. 8/10
The Prestige… Nolan epic about two magicians in competition with each other… somehow didn’t even know of this film. Found Christian Bale’s cockney accent irritating and it was over-dramatic at times, but good entertainment. 8/10
Realised today Ive been mixing up Inception and Interstellar (alzheimer’s etc etc)… hated the latter and haven’t seen the former… so that’s this afternoon’s viewing sorted.
Along_the_Wire no problem buddy. Yeah it’s perfect for Xmas day with the family
Soul was really fucking good.
Didn’t really enjoy Soul. Don’t think I would bother watching it ever again
Millsy has no Soul
jonattonyeah I coach and follow tennis quite a bit…..all of them apart from Roddick/Djokovic are serial chokers.
Djokovic is a serial choker?
Lol.
Smallman1 Re-read Dan’s post.
Soul - 8/10 - really enjoyed it.
Wonder Woman 84 - 6/10 I really wanted to love this, but I couldn’t. I really REALLY hate that she wasted her wish on something so stupid (I won’t spoil it in case anyone wants to be surprised). I did like Kristen Wiig at the beginning though. She plays a good nerdy scientist
Not so much at the weird feline thing she ended up being (so creepy).
Wonder Woman 1984 has gotten some TERRIBLE comments from people who’ve seen it. Yours is one of the most positive I’ve read. I had very little interest in it, apart from looking at Gal Gadot.
If you are into wonder woman I would recommend this
Have just watched Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
Thought it was excellent.
8 John Le Carre’s out of 10.
