The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007)

Holy moly. I hadn’t seen this in ages and wow is it beyond excellent. Visually it is just stunning. Thoroughly a Western so it has that pacing, which isn’t everyone’s thing, but Brad Pitt and Casey Affleck are both….just tremendous performances by both of them. Early Jeremy Renner, Sam Rockwell, and Paul Schneider. Honestly think it might be one of the best films from that decade (2007) as it really holds up.

Can’t recommend it enough.

9.5 bullets to the back of the head out of 10

The White Tiger. Wasn’t happy watching it as it was the birds that were banging on about it. It was excellent, really enjoyed it. 8/10

I don’t like the NFL, but I like some football movies, so instead of the Superbowl, I watched “Wildcats”. 10/10. Love it. Will watch it over and over again.
