Run on Netflix. 88% on RT, thought I’d give it a go. An absolute fucking stinker - a very, very poor man’s misery. Absolutes tripe. ⅒
Palm Springs. Groundhog day wedding romcom. Surprisingly really enjoyed this. Cristin Milioti seems to have a great agent- consistently decent outings from Fargo to Black Mirror USS Callister, Wolf of Wall Street and now this. 8/10.
Wasily will have to watch this… have read/heard a handful of decent reviews now
Millsy Sounds about right.
Just discovered they’re doing and Indie 5. I do wish they would stop.
Amps yeah, not directed by Spielberg either…James Mangold…done some decent films but… Harrison Ford will be pushing 80 too.

Palm Springs…. like Groundhog Day but better? Genuinely funny - haven’t seen a good new film in a while so this was a joy. 8/10
Jules72 ‘like Groundhog Day but better’. GTFO
I’ll say I’ll watch Palm Springs but the reality is I won’t.
Cheers!
Almost sacked it off after 10 mins in. I then watched it for another half hour and gave up.
Dubman first negative review I’ve heard of it
@Millsy have you seen it?
@Smallman1 you’re a muppet
Jules72 first negative review I’ve heard of it
I’m going to try and watch the rest of the film today. It could be a 10 or a 6
Jules72 I’ll give it a go mate.
Finished watching Palm springs yesterday.. it’s still shit and not a patch on Groundhog Day.
Unbelievably, I watched Beetlejuice for the first ever time. An excellent film - Michael Keaton was superb. The passing of time has not been kind to the special effects mind. 8/10
Along_the_Wire yep. Great film. Everyone looking like it was a fun film to be part of too.
Just read that there’s a Beetlejuice 2 being made. What could possibly go wrong there?
We watched a black & white number with Vincent Price called The Bat from 1946 or some shit.
Hilarious shite.
Dan God bless Zemeckis and Gale for never making another Back to the Future.
