Followed The Fugitive with US Marshalls. Not nearly as good as the former, and full of cliches, but Tommy Lee Jones made it still a fun rewatch after a really long time. Could be 20 years since the last time I saw it.

Promising Young Woman…. film about a woman trying to get revenge on the men who raped her best friend and on men generally. Has one or two interesting twists. Not exactly a great advert for the male species but well worth a watch. 7.5/10

Jules72 Really enjoyed that. Carey Mullighan is class in it and the screenplay is a deserving winner of the oscar. I imagine how much a guy will enjoy it will inversely relate to how much they like to take advantage of drunken women.

Not much more to say really. Middle aged white guy is forced to defeat an army of Russian gangsters with little more than his bare fists.

implausible, shallow, silly and vaguely entertaining in a mindless way.

C_J pretty much agree with this..enjoyable but was hoping for more following the directors previous film….

Which was a bit much overall but had some interesting action scenes.

LT42 seeing and hearing very mixed things about this… although that prob means it’s rubbish. The trailer looks very Alien-esque although I realise it’s supposed to be nothing like that

The premise is good but anything with Toni Collette in it is officially a miserable movie.

EDIT: dont know why the trailer made it look that way either, its the reason we gave it a go. Bastards.

The best picture-winner Nomadland is coming to Disney+ (here at least) on Friday. Will try to fit that and Sound of Metal on the telly next weekend.
