Homegrove Two listens under my belt and The First Two Pages of Frankenstein is an amazing album if you love melancholic indie rock like I do. Name another band like The National that’s been around for 20+ years and still they get better with each album.
alistair Homegrove They’re good but they haven’t got better over time and they haven’t taken any risks with their sound unlike Radiohead who followed the Bends with OK Computer and KId A. All timeless classics and all very different. Nothing the National have done since is as good or as fresh as Alligator or Boxer.
