In a relatively cheesy mode, so the new Cigarettes After Sex album is landing in a big emo way. No fillers, and harmonies that warm the soul consistently. Solid band IMO.

This will be far too sophisticated for the heathens on here but I thought I’d post it as the more erudite may enjoy it!

Is ‘sophisticated’ Cockney rhyming slang for ‘shite’

Anyone got any recommendations for chill out albums? Have been enjoying Luke Una’s E Soul stuff recently. Anything in that direction would be boss.

Amps I go back to Inhmost a lot. All the stuff really, but Seven Moves Later still sits on top.

rhouses I go back to Inhmost a lot.

Really enjoyed this, top man for the heads up!

Amps Harvey’s Mercury Rising Comps are decent. You’ve volumes 1,2 and 3.

rhouses not heard of Inhmost before, loving the latest album Breaks & Dreams

Dubman Bandcamp updates throughout the day. I think it’s down to the labels at what time of the day they want their music available on the day of release.

Also a new album from Tycho today.

No big tunes unlike Singularity or Immunity but its a proper listening experience on good headphones. Class act. Makes me want to see him live again for the third time

Jon Hopkins-album is unsurprisingly very good.

Ufff the new Jon Hopkins is goooooood.

Glass Beams seem to be doing just EPs at the minute. Groovy bastards.

Dubman I like this album, you can feel the weight of the sound. It’s almost claustrophobic at times.

And the new Jon Hopkins album sounds predictably great. Looking forward to giving it a proper listen on headphones.

He is so far beyond other producers. I feel like he’s just not playing the same game as everyone else.

Could imagine hearing on a big reggae sound system with those big scoops & tweeters

Dubman He’s close for sure, Jon Hopkins just seems to consistently put out music that is as close to perfect (for me obviously) as you could get. Every aspect of his compositions is so good.

Dubman The bass might crush your chest lol. That Dub Simulation track is one I think I’ll go back to regularly, the whole album is solid though.

303abuser he’s just a very accomplished musician with great feel. You want to catch him live if you haven’t already.
