  • Wrecking Ball / Peak Time Power Prog - Best Example Needed

I would love two pills and a dark room with red pilot blasting out of some high end sound system.

-si- Amazing tune. Heard Digweed drop in the Red Box way back when.

John Graham has to be one of the Godfathers of this genre

        SM001

Proper weapon of a track, mate! He played it in lush! also.

SM001 Magica is a lovely track. JG played it in one of his bunkers if I recall

          SM001

Heard one or more of those, think he played some on a bunker>?

          strummer No arguments there Ed.Tune.

          Cracker isn’t it.

          An all time fave.

Has to be Breeder The Chain

          none finer for me

LT42 Been a while, loved all the Fire stuff. Boss tunes and strong artwork.

SM001 …doesn’t really fit this thread, but ‘Making Peace’ was my pick:

            Amps

Genesis would have been my 2nd choice. It’s a cracker.

jonattonyeah have to say that I much prefer the ’Slacker’s Sax Factor’ remix of Zerotonine. It’s the one that S&D played on the Homelands EM. Killer remix!

            From the same set: -

In all fairness, Slacker was proper prog royalty. Isn’t cited enough imo.

Alistair needs the Wrecking Ball/Power Prog PDF and manual sent to him quicksmart from board HR.

jonattonyeah Think when you fill the form in, this should be condensed to ‘Wrecking Ball Prog’, just a pity there won’t be anything listed after 2004.

Dubman I’m not sure he ever put out anything that could be described as bad. His Roaches remix will always be in the Muscular Hall of Fame.

                  Amps
His Voices remix has one of the maddest breakdowns I’ve ever heard.

                  Smallman1

You missed off the Hernan Catanneo plodders as well Eddie (bathtub prog)

SM001 And yet when I mention 006 disk two, everyone gets a bit sniffy about it. Arguably it’s the zenith of power prog.
