Amps the Nike RF logo, that became a bone of contention when the switch happened, was quite iconic. Not so much shoes, more the caps and tshirts. Must have sold a shit load when he went with the gold gear at Wimbledon when he beat Borg’s record.

Do like those RF air max 95s that came out a couple of years ago as well.

Smallman1 Not exactly inspiring considering the price. Are most of the Asics a safe bet? Or do I need to stick to the Kayanos?

Asics are a properly safe bet, their core competence is running and have mainly stuck to it.

    They make brilliant running shoes.

Amps All about comfort and fit, Amps. These fit me perfectly and not only helped me run a sub 4hr, but absolutely destroy it! All trainers fit differently though, so you have to get down the shops and try all on first.
No point wearing a £100+ pair of duds if you’re going to be walking over the finishing line 😉

I found ASICS were narrow for my fat flat feet. Have bee. Wearing brooks for the last 4 years and have never had any problem with them

Christian This does not bode well. I’ve got wide feet, not flat footed, but wide, I struggle to get in some of the skinny retro numbers.

Amps they may not look the best, but for running have a look at brooks.. they also sell a wide version, but have found the standard version wide enough for my feet

          Are Skechers any good?

            Brown cords and stilton sauconys.

            Genuinely bleak times.
