They’re also called that because they’re a collaboration with Overkill, which is a sneaker store in Berlin not too far from me.
Overkill also sells lots of graffiti equipment and is generally big in to that kind of scene, which will also in part explain the styling of the shoe.
Have to add that the shoe is very much not my cup of tea either btw.
