They are comrades. To be fair, a day escaping the wife, albeit dressed like a Power Ranger, does sound gravy.

Got myself a buxombox bike case today. Gives me something to look forward to when this is over. Go travelling with the bike.
integrated cockpits and dissembly are not compatible.
looking forward to a weekend in Mallorca.
Millsy To be fair, I am a wanker, so all gravy. You want a gravel bike - bang-on trend. I’m not an expert, but lots of mates do it, so could give you some recommendations - what’s your budget.
To add to my wanker reputation, Millsy, I’m really very fucking good as this game.
benson I had to sell my BikeBoxAlan now that I’ve got the integrated cockpit. I went for a Scicon bag - just take the wheels off and stick it in - I got one for my TT bike and it’s brilliant.
Hopefully it will fit in. I think it will, just, although always hate taking the stem off cos I’m shit at getting iut tight again after.
benson With the new bag, you don’t do a think apart from take the wheels off - no other adjustments at all, not even the seat post.
Yeah but it is a bag. The buxom is proper aluminium and tough. Tricky. Although when we did GFNY a coupel of years ago mny mate took a bag and it was all pretty straightforward. Maybe I have just spunked a lot of money when I didn;t need to.
The bags are a piece of piss and I don’t know anyone that’s had an issue with breakage. I assumed for a long time it was tripe.
Along_the_Wire thanks mate. Will take a look. Any particular make or model?
There’s a Mondraker Dune on FB Marketplace for £650 that looks alright. Think the RRP is £2k so it’s probably stolen. But I didn’t steal it so I think I’m in the clear. Thoughts? Feelings?
Dubman That would be shit on the road through, Dubbers. Millsy has clearly stated he wants a bike capable of both.
Millsy I’m getting some advice, hold tight.
Millsy it’s a MTB pal
Along_the_Wire
That’s why I said 29″ wheels as they do roll faster.
Gravel bike is great on the road and on trails. Way better than a MTB does the same
Ah right. My sons bike has rock shox or whatever its called on the front fork and you can switch that on and off. If you fix it does it ride better on the road?
There’s far too much choice nowadays and it all costs an arm and a leg. Give me the white dog poo halcyon days of either a chopper, a Burner/Boxer or racer.
