I dont know how they police it to be fair, its difficult. I suppose the only way is barriers with electric fences. Just an observation but it always seems to be fellas with Spanish or Basque flags who are the worst culprits too.

just did 100km round London starting at 0530 from Richmond. Bloody lovely until 89km when I stacked it in Brentford on a raised kerb that I thought was just a white line. Am in fucking agony now and booked into MIU. Fucking cyclists.

Also the behaviour of both car drivers and cyclists in Richmond Park is dire. Truly terrible. It is a Sunday in a park. Chill out people.

We went round all the bridges in central london and past loads of the old after party haunts in clapham / battersea (second bit was by accident). Some good memories

Today’s finish was box office. Perfect for whatever future Unchained episode we get. Those sprint stages with all the roundabouts in the last 10- 15k are hair raising. Fair play to Philipsen, he took his chance. Interesting dynamic for breakaways in the next few days because of the intermediaries and the points up for grabs. That looked like a heavy fall on the elbow for Girmay, he’ll be stiff tomorrow.

Pogacar is a real savage, he just chewed them all up on that last climb like it was nothing. Scary when he’s in this condition.

Along_the_Wire Saw that, I picked up some incredible shots over the 3 weeks.
Great stuff again, I’m always sad when it ends. Lets hope everybody is fit and ready at the start next year and fair play to Remco, that was some race on his first time round.
