LT42 yeah, pretty much, he lost by a cm - that’s just racing though - WVA has been very unlucky, but he’s still on yellow and extended his lead marginally. He can climb, but he’ll lose it in the mountains proper. He’s some fucking rider - see that bit where he dodged a bit of road furniture near the end? That’s his handling from CX

Sagan got booted out of the Tour for something vaguely similar when he was chasing a record 7th (I think) consecutive green jersey and that should never have happened - that was just reading. Gutted for him

LT42 can’t see past a drug-addled Pogacar. Really like Roglic and hope he can compete/win it, but just can’t see it. Interesting to see what Ineos do - such a strong team, but not really a leader that can compete with Pogacar or Roglic

Yes it was a dangerous move but the 9 month ban was a joke, punishing the severity of the injury, which was ‘caused’ by the fast downhill finish and barrier set up, rather than the crime. That said I’d hold a grudge if my face had been dissected in part by my opponents actions.

Is Pogacar nailed on for the PEDs yeah? The way they talk about him being a once off, he must be the most tested surely? Although I’ve no idea how all that works

LT42 fuck knows, but he really shouldn’t be beating the TT world champion on a flat course. He was shit at TTs three years ago. You see his long range attack in the Strade Bianchi? I like him to be fair, but he’s very suspect in my eyes

Along_the_Wire I didn’t see that attack you’re speaking of, mate. I’m a sunshine supporter, I only get around to the Tour because I’m off work and I can drink cocktails while watching, I’ve no idea about the technical stuff.
I do love watching it though, the nerves watching the last 10k like yesterday can’t be matched imo. Throw in all the scenery and commentary and I’m in my element.
I’ll keep a beady eye on Pogacar now.

LT42 I love it all - sprint stages are a bit tedious, but just love the commentary and general cycle chat. Got a couple of nasty ops coming up and have to isolate/recover for a couple of weeks at home - perfect.

Yeah its a great few hours laid out on the couch. I love the sprint stages myself, its very interesting and also impressive how they position themselves as a team beforehand. Seeing the yellow jersey crash yesterday and then jump straight back on to catch the peleton to help Jakobsen, its briiliant.
