I’ve been busy AF the past 1.5 months. I moved into a larger space at my current gallery the past 2 days; I’ve also made a push to have as many smalls as possible ready for a group show opening March 11. I have 7 more pieces to pick up at the framer. Hopefully today. I think.

Thankfully I can take a slower path for the next month or so. I’ll still be working, but not with the same impetus as before. These two pieces probably make it obvious (to most of us) I’ve been adopting/adapting names of songs (electronic and not) for paintings.

JonQPublik They look great, good luck with the group show, you must be excited for it. I take a lot of my track names from songs and lyrics too.

303abuser Honestly, right now there’s a lull in excitement. I was super hyped and focused for so long this break in excitement is kinda welcomed. I know it will return the closer we get to March 11, but this “sigh” is also welcomed.

JonQPublik I hear you, my favorite part of the process is the start of a new project, just exploring and finding a direction. Being creative vs. doing all of the promotion and other stuff around it. Hope the show goes well.

I was invited to show at a new gallery in Hendersonville, NC (next county south, vibrant arty community) back in early March. I survived Hurricane Helene. Some of my works did not. Foundation Studios was destroyed along with maybe 80% of Asheville’s River Arts District. I had 4 pieces at a separate location and those are gone as well. These are some of the pieces found this far.
