I loved being made redundant. A good pay out at the right time. House paid, kids school fees covered and a regular income drawing down on my savings until my pensions kick in. Earned 55k last year contracting and then took 3 months off. Started another job in November paying good money, most of which goes into my pension. Most of the country are going into meltdown over the cost of living, I’m just going about my day.
