World number one Novak Djokovic will defend his Australian Open title later this month after receiving a medical exemption from having a Covid-19 vaccination.

Whilst every other cunt has to be jabbed up 🤷🏼‍♂️

Funky Do you think it’s a good idea to slow the spread of Omicron as much as possible, or do you think we should let it rampage through the population and put huge swathes of the population into isolation?

      Dan On what basis?

Irrespective of reason, will no doubt provide ammo for anti vac advocates.

      • Dan replied to this.

Dan that quite a coincidence for an anti-vax clown to have a medical exemption.

Along_the_Wire Good point Grant, we have restrictions here but its not doing much on that front. I wouldn’t of been against them closing hospitality for the month of January, its a shit month anyway and everyone is broke.

        Mansour BERKrami

Mad_Cyril They’ll never let us mere mortals know. I’d say it’s because there desperate for him to attend and pack the place out.

Along_the_Wire you’ll need to boost with ever increasing frequency to maintain antibody levels given immunology fatigue… that to me is stupid. They’re trying to force boosters using vaccines that weren’t designed for omicron…

Just read they are going to threaten to introduce booster requirements for big events and to avoid travel quarantine.. basically they’re threatening to change the fully vaccinated definition to including booster…idiotic - we are nearly at the end of this

Jules72 we are only at the start of the idiocy though. Boris peddling boosters like there is no tomorrow and Whitty still contending that Omicron is really dangerous.

              Jules72

Doubtful. We’ll never erradicate it and even attempting to do so is possibly misguided due to limited resources and a general population that cannot even do very simple mitigation activities.

With all these Omicron infections, we’ll hit a sweet spot for a few months before likely having to wrestle with it again later this year. Covid isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Two steps forward, one step back.

jonattonyeah ah hold on… I’m talking about severe covid… from here, new strains are unlikely to be deadly. Of course it will be circulating but it will be flu-ish going forward, not worse
