I see Hugo is still saying it’s just a flu.

303abuser can you please write a book about the last time the common cold or flu has taken out enough healthcare workers to delay acute care and surgeries?
can you please write a book about the last time the common cold or flu has demanded anyone with even minute systems to be forced to isolate and then tested, and then everyone they’ve recently been in contact with to also be forced to isolate regardless of whether they even have symptoms?
Homegrove I see Hugo is still saying it’s just a flu.
He’s saying it’s pretty much a cold.
I don’t think nurses or doctors should be going to work with colds either to be fair.
Are colds mild sniffles? Is the flu ‘coughs and sneezes that spread diseases’? Can you simply run off cancer?
hugopal I think there are more people with the sniffles. A lot more. I don’t think healthcare workers should work when they have the sniffles. I think there are more people with sniffles in the last month than there has been in a couple of years. I think you’re being a bit of a cock.
There are 17,000 people with the sniffles in hospital right now. The peak back in Jan 21 was 39,000 people with the sniffles. I get that these sniffles aren’t leading to as many deadybyes, but it’s really quite some trend for something that is just a cold.
Along_the_Wire no it’s exactly the same. just let old people die and go about your life like everything is fine.
I think it should also be pointed out that this thing fucks up your brain, not just your lungs. A very under appreciated fact, imo.
Would love to have had Hugo’s insights when AIDS first hit. ’Well it won’t stop ME having unprotected sex with trollops’
