zackster Hursty the virus almost certainly escaped from the Wuhan Lab due to ineptitude and the Chinese are desperately trying to hide this fact.
Jules72 I have no idea if it escaped from a lab, but you could easily imagine a Chinese strategy to weaken Western economies with covid.. their economy benefited significantly from exports of PPE and technology, and they seemed to understand (quickly) how to get rid of the virus internally (hard lockdowns and border shutdowns). I don’t believe this conspiracy theory but it’s not out of the realm of possibility.
zackster Jules72 I highly doubt that it was a tactical decision. It escaped thru due to their being far less advanced and capable than we give them credit for. The Wuhan lab has had other such things happen before.
