The numbers might be low just now but I think the fear is that the decline in the Kent variant is offsetting a rise in the Indian variant and there is potential for cases to escalate rapidly again.
It’s a bit of a no win situation really. They’ll get loads of “I told you so” if things kick off again and the hospitals get backed up. Hopefully the vaccinations will prevent or suppress that scenario but like who knows man, you never know what’s around the corner with this whole virus carry on eh
