So I keep reading the government is seriously thinking about shutting down restaurants and bars/pubs when the schools open to keep infections down. This when they turn a blind eye to the lack of compliance on track/tracing and distancing in pubs/restaurants, and no one enforces masks still on trains… fcking makes my blood boil we are going to lose our freedoms because of this useless bunch of twats. Needed that… thanks

Jules72 Constant buck passing really. The shops won’t enforce it because they don’t want the aggro, the police won’t enforce it because they’re under-resourced. Fair enough one might say. But it’s not a problem in Germany or Japan and look at their infection rates compared to UK. No-one taking any fucking responsibility, whether the general public for their own behaviour, the police or the supermarkets who could easily bar entry to anyone not following the guidance.

bosstrabs it’s the governments responsibility to enforce this stuff - slap nasty and escalating fines on repeat offenders (eg the 20k aud fines on lockdown breakers in Australia)…and chuck the Fuckers in prison after a number of times. Why does this bloody government refuse to come down hard on people…. as it is, police go up to mask offenders and have a nice chat with them… what a Fckng joke.. treat them like the criminals these people are.

Also, had to go to the shops yesterday, quick in and out of Morrisons for essentials, 60% of people wearing masks, no-one giving a fuck about arrows on the floor.

But even some of those wearing masks were wearing them in all sorts of places - on their mouth but not nose, under their fucking chins (which I do outside but not in enclosed spaces), one weirdo even just covering his beard up, like a bloke working in a fucking bakery might do.

Morrisons is the closest supermarket. Didn’t want to schlep further to Sainsbury’s or Waitrose.

Asda is for people who’ve given up, I’d have put Morrisons and Tesco at mid level.
