With each day Bangalore is getting to be more and more of a shit show… but for some reason no one is dying. Do agree, think it’s a bit moot focusing on the infection rate now, and best to just contain the death rate - but I mean, essentially they go hand in hand. We had 5 cases in our society over the last month, and our cleaning lady was working in one of the houses. The missus and I have quarantined for the last two weeks. After that last church trip, I have no intention of leaving the house unless it’s to visit family at their homes.
There’s obviously a ton of underreporting happening because people are insisting on just staying home when they get infected and just not getting recorded. Also, there are a ton of stories of people experiencing symptoms and waiting it out at home and then dying within 5 days or going to the hospital far too late, giving doctors 24 hours max to save them, they die and then you find out they’re positive.
