jonattonyeah the two hospitals I have the most familiarity with (Highland in Oakland and SF General) are often at 150-200% capacity
that’s interesting. to my knowledge, our icus are never at capacity, only covid has changed that. no matter what though, it always comes down to getting people vaccinated. there’s no perfect solution, but that’s the one absolutely necessary step.
