France up to 52k daily infections. The R number must be pretty high there now.
The first place to get the vaccine should of course be GREAT Britain.
-si- fucking hell!
You couldn’t make it up, mate! The DUP are radio fucking rental.
-si- as are the Welsh and their non essential supermarket items.

I literally can’t believe the stupidity of the Welsh government.
Hursty it’s Tesco that apologised for getting it wrong.
Love North Wales. Beautiful. Seems to have its own culture and vibe. People are nice. South Wales just seems like off-brand shitty England. My two cents on the matter.
jonattonyeah Totally depends on where you are as always. Pembrokeshire and the Gower are lovely and so is Snowdonia/ Llyn peninsula up north.
Not so nice the rest of it as you say. The bit on the middle is nice too if you like wild and rugged terrain.
UK stats look a bit scary…. over 350 deaths announced today
Heard that a friend of a friend died last night of covid related causes…. and then I get on the train this morning and there are multiple people not wearing masks in my carriage. It might be my imagination but I think compliance has got worse not better… and yet not once have I seen any enforcement since start of July. Stunning. Think it’s pretty clear we will surpass France’s 60k cases are some stage in the next few weeks.
Jules72 I have been on the train only once (last week, to see relatives in Warrington before their Tier 3 started) and to be fair the British Transport Police were a very visible presence at the station (though not on the train). I imagine the BTP simply haven’t got the numbers compared with the amount of commuter trains in the South East though.
bosstrabs yup on numbers… it’s pointless them standing around at stations though because all these idiots put on a mask when entering and take it off once in the train… anyway given what’s going on in Italy, where there has been strong enforcement, it just seems that if you keep schools open you are going to get a nasty cases spike - almost seems like masks don’t work in the bigger scheme of things
Got a train to Waterloo yesterday, everyone in masks.
Cheers.
Smallman1 South-west London. Full of bumbling but ultimately quite civilised Boris fanboys and Twickers types.
Smallman1 all except TFL workers who talk to each other 1 metre apart without masks…. thickets if I ever saw any…. do most TFL workers actually do anything btw - how much do they get paid for just standing around looking thick
bosstrabs Lib Dem round these parts, Dave.
Is the right answer Dave.
Actually Tooting is a Labour stronghold.
Thankfully the restaurant scene is beyond vibrant or I’d be out of here like a shot.
Jules72 how much do they get paid for just standing around looking thick
About £50k a year.
Smallman1 50k a year just for manning the gates?
Sounds absurd even though they’re unionised, can’t be right.
Train drivers may get upwards of that, not sure, but not some pillock on the gateline.
