There are some selfish twats out there. Can’t people just stick to the distancing , no matter what their views are? It’s no a debate. Just do it FFS. Plus the Govt needs to be specific on masks , for example on buses/trains/tube. Plus shops . Anywhere indoors without decent ventilation imo.

My work is pushing me to return to the US soon. An 8 hour flight isn’t going to be too much fun. A Petri dish with wings on it…. 😕

If you saw what was involved, you’d realise transferring cash out of China it’s just easier to pull it all out of an ATM with the ICBC and bang it back in a paying-in machine in Barclays.

Homegrove Assume we’ll really know within 2-3 weeks of the protests, as two weeks is the quarantine period in UK and three weeks is the quarantine period in China - must be closely related to the incubation period

BLM protest incubation period is done here in the Bay Area. No impact whatsoever. Cases moving upward but the positivity rate is staying well below 5% (8% being the alarm bells - we’re at 4-4.5%) so who cares as long as hospitalizations remain stable. Looking at a post-opening and 4th of July surge but if we get through mid-July, we’re good here. Just need to keep the troglodytes from Arizona and Florida away.

Amazing what a populous who for the most part “gets it” can do. Masks, masks, masks, masks, masks, masks, masks. It seems to make all the difference. And so simple and easy. The easiest bit. Out of all that’s been asked. Pathetic showing by those who refuse.

jonattonyeah totally - was driving around yesterday (London) and i reckon just 50-60% of people were wearing masks on buses… fcking makes me so angry. Im going to start calling out people on buses and tubes/trains - can imagine myself getting very fcking feisty. Ultimately its due to the government having zero credibility imo - the Cummings and Ferguson shitshows blew holes in that. Germans trust their government and do what they’re told …same elsewhere in Europe. What a joke…. i need to stop thinking about this because it is guaranteed to raise my blood pressure.

If it ever turns out this virus was created by a state to somehow damage certain countries because they know how it will be poorly handled due to several reasons already discussed, then fair play, a sterling job for sure.
