Millsy The new trains should be alright actually, because I expect they would have HEPA filters in the air con system like planes and they also bring in more fresh air from outside the system than planes do. You will probably be fine then on a suburban express type train, so long as it’s not too packed. I don’t know how it is in your area, but most of these trains have been upgraded to new ones in the past few years in the north west.
The older tube trains won’t though. And a big thumbs down to being packed together with people.
