Cheers for the info guys!
Essentially you are right, I’m trying to improve my endurance sports by retuning my diet which is very healthy but high in carbs such as potatoes, rice, quinoa and other grains which obviously are high GI and thus lots of glycogen.
I’ve know about the story of Mark Allen for years now the man who dominated Ironman for years bu perfecting this diet and training regime.
Must say the first few days are tough, the body is screaming for carbs but I know it won’t last.
As for alcohol I made a bottle of dry red wine last over the weekend which I thought was ok in terms of keeping things low carb?
