hugopal Hursty I’ve seen many young people in my previous career really cut down on their opportunities on several of these aspects, one of the main ones being willing to move areas to pursue a better job/career. They wanted to stay close to mummy and daddy or their ‘mates’, but unfortunately you have to spread your wings sometimes to develop and push yourself. That’s always been the case amongst significant swathes of society though.
303abuser ok i’ve read almost none of this thread because i’m lazy, so sorry if it’s already been said … but i’ll add that blaming a generation of people who had no more control over the decision making process than you or i, is dumb. blame the corporations and politicians who chose greed over making the world a better place. this isn’t unique to our generation(s), it’s just amplified because of technology and our ability to change and control the environment in which we live without the understanding and knowledge of the consequences.

bosstrabs Anyway, every entitled cunt I encounter in the supermarket who won’t mask up, gets in everyone’s way, then bullies and intimidates the staff for reminding them of the rules, is a boomer. I wouldn’t mind, but the hypocrisy is mindblowing.
