The past week has made the term Gerintocracy an important piece of the political science lexicon. Our democracy hangs in the balance, and the warriors we have to defend it are all 1000 year old fossils. First RGB dies after being dropped and shattering into a bilizzion pieces, and then we these two absolute gems.
I think this Jerry Nadler one is honestly the unquestionably perfect depiction of our times. The completely impotent House of Reps is rolling out some legislation that makes Don stealing the election illegal, and Nadler shits his fucking pants mid speech. Its stunning. As someone else said on twitter, he looks like the mayor of Halloweentown from the Nightmare Before Christmas. This is all we’ve got, people. These sad stewards of the market are who the Lib’s will endlessly fetishize and yell at me for not giving a shit about. What an absolutely horrible time to be alive.
