Amps If Joe wins on election night, Don will leave peaceably. What happens between the Nov and Jan 1 is anybody’s guess, but ultimately he will shluff off into marine one. When it comes down to it, Don is a huge pussy and will never do anything to, in his mind, embarrass himself.

The only way I can see the repubs stealing it is if mail-in ballots come into play.

Also, you have to assume that, behind the scenes, republicans are very happy to have Joe Biden as POTUS. All of the shit you see them saying on TV is just pageantry for the hoopleheads.

Amps That was his brother, John, who was also a complete capitalist madman, but not even he was on par with Allen. An entirely fascinating man, who I honestly believe might have been the most important political player in US, and even world, politics for more than a century. To this day, I think we are still living in his world.

Oh yes. Several. The Brothers is about both Allen and John. My absolute favorite is The Devil’s Chess Board. Same author as The Brothers. I am actually rereading this now, bc it ties in with another book I am currently reading on HW Bush and the CIA. All The Shah’s Men is a good event specific one about the 1953 coup in Iran, which was a Dulles extravaganza. The Craft of Intelligence is a fucked up manual that Dulles wrote, both short and creepy. The only straight up biography on him that I’ve ever cracked is Gentleman spy which I bailed on because it was flowery and redundant because of the other shit I had already read. If ur board I HIGHLY recommend Devil’s Chessboard. It reads like a novel, and is extremely well written and researched.

On election night the vote will either be too close to call or Don will have a slight lead. Don will declare victory, but Joe will not concede because “there are still millions of mail-in ballots to be counted.”
Over the next several days Don will go on a full on media blitz talking about how “we’ve always had a winner on election night! The dems are printing votes as we speak! They are trying to steal the election!”
Cases will be underway in the appellate courts arguing that the mail-in votes are fraudulent and must not be counted.
The Supreme Court will hear which ever one of the cases gets there first. The Court will either uphold the decision or be split 4-4 (Roberts sides with the minority). In either instance the result is the same: the the mail-in ballots will stop being counted, Don will be reelected, and there is no mechanism in our government to stop it.

HOWEVER, let me say that I think the most likely outcome is still that Joe wins on election night (before mail-in ballots are counted) and that none of what I said above will come into play. Despite how much I hate Joe Biden, I honestly think Don is so unpopular, especially in the suburbs, that he will loose. I think Joe gets PA, WI and MI. Thats the ball game right there.
