Washington State used to do execution by hanging but stopped that after this one fatty was deemed to heavy for execution; that he risked decapitation. That, according to the Courts, was deemed “cruel and unusual.” I mean, isn’t that the point?
Personally, if we’re going to have capital punishment, I think the person dying should get the choice. Boulder dropped on head. Thrown off cliff. Frozen. Dynamite in mouth. Shark attack.
We’ve already lost the moral battle. Might as well lean in.
