i kind of just assumed you could upgrade, i’d be pretty unhappy if i had to buy suite again, but i’m not sure. given their pace, 12 is probably 6 years away too.
the production thread
Sounds a little like when they introduced that button which hides the automation in arrangement view as a ‘workflow enhancement’ - which forces you to hide automation to edit the audio fades and makes it more fiddly to duplicate clips in arrangement view when you haven’t hidden the automation. All of which was super straightforward without the ‘enhancement’.
(still amazing software)
i haven’t tried it, but according to the internet, this is an amazing deal if you’re in the market for a saturation plugin.
https://www.pluginboutique.com/products/3016-RC-20-Retro-Color
i’ve got 8 or 9 tape plugins and i like them all for different reasons, but if i had to stick with only one, rc-20 might be it. it’s so good, buy it if you need tape/saturation.
New one - with debut vocal performance
apyssjw banger, top stuff!
Phil-McRackin thanks
audio damage just put all of their legacy products up for free download …
Cheers. I thought it best to ask the resident board plugin master before realising I have created a disaster with too many installs.
Had a quick look at some YouTubes. Yeah, the Roughrider looks good. Will probably avoid the synths, as I don’t need another soft synth in my life right now. Could do with another delay though, especially since NI still haven’t got the arses in gear with the M1 migration.
It’s a paid product, but AudioDamage
Dubstation is by far the most useful delay plugin I have and I use it all the time.
Dubstation is included as free, Loops. That’s another one I’ll install then. Cheers
Well damn! I guess he’s no longer making it? Weird, since that’s one of his most popular plugins as far as I’m aware?
Snag it. Instant dub delays in seconds.
Henry lol the addiction is real. i think rc 20 is the last tape plugin i’m buying, i have 8 now i think.
and that was my thought too, you can’t have too many creative plugins. even if you don’t use them all the time, if they’re good, there’s always a place for them. i’m so happy they updated modnetic and diffuse to m1, i was worried because i use them on every project. it’s amazing companies like NI and soundtoys haven’t upgraded their products yet.
loopdokter it’s free now and it is good. it duplicates modnetic for me, but i use it as an ipad return for my hardware setup.
Unfortunately Dubstation only works through Rosetta. Dubstation 2 looks the business though, and is probably worth $25.
