Looks like a great update, they’re probably less concerned about cannibalizing the OT now that it’s old enough to not be getting an updated version.
I’d love to trade up, but I can’t justify the increased cost. I paid $800 CAD for the DT when it was released, it’s $1250 now if you can find one and the DT2 is $1450. I bought the ST for $1200 and it’s $1450 now too, crazy how much prices have gone up.
I can sample from my hardware either to the DT or straight into ableton, so I’ve got it covered for now. I’ve been having a blast the last couple of weeks running the DFAM through the ext in of the MS20. Once I’ve got all the tracks finished that I’ve already started, I want to get into a different sonic territory that where I’ve been the last few years.
