I only got one - Julio Bashmore - but it’s not a genre I was really paying that much attention to at that time. I did immediately go to Beatport for the Fred P (no luck) and Trevino tracks.
Saw Fred P at the Pickle Factory a few years ago.

Yeah, two appearances on two different genres and two comfortably victories.
On the subject of Adam X and acid techno, I did like this of his which he put out a couple of years ago:
I’ve not heard of the DJs, let alone the records.
Pretty small back catalogue to choose from compared to other genres. Even one of tracks featured was produced by one the contestants.

I always called that “loop techno” like Ben Sims, Technasia, Advent, Oxia, Mr. G, Umek, Sterac, John Thomas, Recycled Loops
or you may call this genre “Carl Cox 2002” and it won’t be far away
from recent times like this set much, although it’s not completely loop techno, but many tracks are

Using the way beyond cliched ‘jack had a groove’ speech made me want to punch the screen before the music had even started.
It basically was just a much much more boring Jeff Mills, and needs to be at least a few bpm faster. I don’t know why you wouldn’t just watch/listen to Jeff Mills.
