In no particular order…

Black Spot
La Mante
The Forest
Borderland

All of them are a little quirky, get past the ‘wtf am I watching phase’ and all pan out decent entertainment .

Not sure any are as good as Dark though, which sets a pretty high bar.

I may need to up my meds. It’s all over the place. They headmaster seems to be doing more investigation than the police.

Gonna come out say it, marathoning the fuck out of Indian Matchmaking as we speak. Loving it.

Snowpiercer - shite series about a train that houses the last known remnants of the human race as it travels round a frozen Earth. Even worse than rewatching the first episode of Star Trek NG.

Netflix-viewing numbers are pretty impressive. The Old Guard has been watched with 72 million accounts. No wonder even name-directors are willing to do business with them now.

It looks like one of those textbook films for people that aren’t into films

Blain I watched the original film by Bong Joon-ho, director of Parasite.. also shite. Need to try Memories of Murder though - apparently his other really good film. I fear he is a one-hit wonder though…

Dubman lol. Not at all. Timepass and hoping my peoples don’t make asses of themselves. Turn out they sorta do in this show.

Jules72 There’s a scene in the movie where security guys come out with blades, run them through a dead fish to coat them in blood and then attack the heroes.

Apparently the film financiers - Harvey Weistein before he got caught - wanted it cut as it came across weird for western audiences.

That Boon Jo whatsisface told Weinstein it was a tribute to his father who was a fisherman so it got kept in.

The flick comes out and then he does interviews saying his dad wasn’t a fucking fisherman, he just wanted the scene in the movie.

              lol.
