First episode of the John Gacy-doc was very well done compared to most serial killer docs out there. But then it’s by the guy who did Paradise Lost.

Can’t help thinking after watching lots of serial killer docs recently the fathers of the killers have a lot of answering to do. It seems like having abusive, disinterested parenting is a recipe for disaster funnily enough.

I couldn’t get through the first episode it was that bad for me. Thing is it looks and sounds great. They must’ve put a lot of money into that. It’s a shame the content stinks.

Forgot that I had started the John Wayne Gacy-doc and finished it only today. Wow. Had no idea he killed that many people. 33 victims, 29 of which he buried on his own property. Thought the doc was pretty well made.

Now started Meltdown: 3 Mile Island. Done a bit melodramatically, but the interviews are good stuff judging by the first episode. It helps that I know very little about this incident.

This was right at the start of the first episode.
