“Beef” delivers… initially thought it was a movie, and got intimidated with the 10 episodes, expecting it would just be a non-stop back and forth between both the main characters. It’s not that, and I ended up marathoning the entire thing in one sitting (probably says more about me than it does about the show). It’s made by A24, so you can expect that clean and artsy edge to the camera work. Obviously lots of Asian family melodrama, with bits of humour, crime etc - good show overall. David Choe is hammy, but he’s such a big personality it’s not so bad.
