Looking forward to checking out The Sinner series 3 this weekend, I’ve been hearing terrible things from Grant about it

    I thought the first episode of Sinner 3 was pretty good (only seen the one so far), but noticed the review scores start going down on IMDb thereafter….

      I’m still stuck trying to get through Mr Robot, Dubbers. I’m on season 3.
      A lot of it is a struggle but some of the episodes are fantastic.
      The production values and aesthetics I have to say are unbelievable. Each episode is like a big budget movie.

        Love The Boys and can’t wait to see what they do in S2. Gets a bit too chaotic at the end, but there’s quite an interesting twist too. Elizabeth Shue, still a honey.

        Sinner season 3 was really poor in comparison to the previous seasons. Could have been finished in three episodes. The episode where he is chasing him round New York is appalling and goes massively down hill

        So just stop watching the Sinner after Season 2 👍

        The Old Guard is coming tomorrow, a comic book movie starring Charlize Theron. It seems to be a rare thing, where Empire shit on it in their review, but the RT score is 92 now.

        I’ll watch it anyway, because you know. Charlize. I even endured Young Adult for her, which while good, was really hard to watch if you don’t enjoy cringe.

          Homegrove I didn’t mind the romcom she did with Seth Rogan a couple years back.

          Saw her in person in LA once, she’s very tall.

            Yeah, that was fun hangover-movie. The part where she solved a major crisis on drugs was amazing. Long Shot I think it was called.

            Wagwahn. Is man knowing Top Boy is actually season free innit?? First two seasons is Top Boy:Summerhouse.
            I’ve just ‘acquired’ a series called Trust directed by the the same guy as Top Boy and Danny Boyle. The Getty family are the storyline.

            Homegrove As a rule Empire shit on Netflix films - they are total ‘cinema is the only true way’ types - So you can probably add a star at least - it’s got a 70 meta critic score so can’t be that bad.

            Same for any movie based on a computer game - admittedly they are mostly shite but Empire tend to down mark them a fair bit anyway.

                Wally Empire sold out decades ago - their reviews are a fucking abomination. Absolute tripe.
