HDR-versions of the Beverly Hills Cop-movies added (here at least) ahead of the 4th one. I watched Part II this week, and it was well weird seeing it look that good, when you used to watch it on VHS as a kid.

Millsy are you implying that no matter what the waves are like, he’ll always be able to keep his head above water? #PeriscopeUp

On a Netflix note: I am enjoying Ripley

Sting’s daughter is good as Freddie. Interesting casting. Really enjoying the whole production. Even the long silences and movements are mesmerising

alistair I was amazed to discover Sting went gender neutral with his kids.

Started watching this last night and almost binned it after the first few episodes. But then it turned really heavy. Didn’t realise it all based on a true story.

Yup, I nearly did as well. I know it was a comedy drama but it’s hard to understand where it was going or the point for a while.

Someone called Sean Foley has just resigned his position in some theatre/production thing. Coincidentally of course, what with the casting of Tom Goodman-Hill.

I’ve got two episodes left. I’m just hoping he got help at the end.

Dubman same here. Thought the first few episodes were pretty shit, only stuck with it because my wife was enjoying it.

Thought it got much better when it takes a bit of a dark turn.

I suppose the question is. Why didn’t he go to the police even sooner. Especially as he found out she had done it before.

              Dubman

Yeah, I’m sure he’s asking himself the same thing. It raises quite a few things about human behaviour. There was that documentary ‘Can I Tell You A Secret’ where I was amazed how easily and stupidly people are somehow compelled and drawn in to all that.

With this though, there could be a lot of artistic license. I’m surprised that the stalker hasn’t been identified if it was really that bad.

I feel the stalker all though was complete nutjob. The other character was far worse in what he done.

Unless I can be bothered to find out the details, I assume that’s always the case with things that are based or true stories.

Mostly fantasy based around a few true things and sold as a true story to make it more appealing to viewers.
