Didn’t say I liked it, but like most other crap Christmas songs, they get hammered this time of year and become classics.

          LT42 I have always seen it as a reflection of Geldof’s anger at the establishment turning a blind eye to famine. Given his continuing efforts re Africa and debt relief since, it would make sense
