Just finished Dune, got through the last 30% in one night. Really exciting and fun, but, that last page is bizarre and abrupt. I had to look it up to make sure I wasn’t missing any pages. One of my female friends put the seed in my head that it was a misogynistic book, which is surprising because the two female leads are pretty bad ass in the first half. Let’s just say it’s hardly feminist at the end. I’ll get on to Messiah in a bit.
Going to read Stalingrad by Anthony Beevor next.
And yup, can’t recommend the Kindle Paperweight enough if you want to up your reading game. Books are an obsolete format.
