How’s the sleeping. It’s the only thing I struggled with. Had some mad dreams as well.

Dubman well….it’s actually not been too bad! But I also had a change in some other medication that I’m taking that could account for that. I’m definitely snacking less and have already lost a couple pounds though! 😂

Dubman melatonin seems to mostly sort that out for me when i take t-breaks. sleep better, dreams are way less horrific.

Dubman To be fair to Hannu he is talking about the quarter cask edition which is a different beast to your standard 10 yr old Laphroig.

What to do mate is get yourself to a decent bar and just try a few different drams. We used to kick off nights out in Aberdeen at The Grill which had about 500 different whiskies in stock.

First time I drank Laphroaig was from a hip flask, I assumed the lining had deteriorated and come away from the inside of the flask, it tasted like diesel, poured it away and slung the flask. I was amazed when I then drank it from the bottle and it was the same.

Agreed!. Something blended. Mac 12 or Balvenie. If Dub wants some smoke or a single Islay malt…Lagavulin would be a better start IMO. @C_J thoughts?

jonattonyeah I reckon he’d like macallan or balvennie yeah. Dunno about Lagavulin. Not tasted that for a long long time but I remember the iodine smell.

best blend / bang for buck out there is Black Bottle. Shit is amazing. Don’t ever drink Jonnie Walker.

We blow through the Blue Label when we have it in. Not very good but an excellent money maker. Scotch for people who don’t like Scotch but want to give the appearance they like Scotch. Those are the best customers. One of my favs is the “Top Shelf Long Island”. Sure thing, bucko, that’ll be $60 for 4oz of booze that’ll taste the same as the $10 version.
