Wally Credit where it’s due - really enjoyed this HEH set. 🙂

Some Talbot…

Listen to JT @AMakingTime XX (Oct2020) by John Talabot on #SoundCloud

Dunno SM1, can’t be bothered listening

    New one from Powel.

Again no sign of a tracklist. Wanker.

    XYZ Selectors 006 - Powel

Shouldn’t be giving these cunts the time of day without a track list, mc. How do we know when to skip forward to when “listening” to the mix?

      -si-
      Fucked if I know Si.

Maybe his “harmonious illusions of sound” have subtitles?

Christian now that’s a blast from the past! Reminds me of Renaissance at the Cross

Smallman1 sounds absolutely tremendous on a casual flick through. Still the numero uno that chap.

LT42 Powel and Joe Miller definitely the stand out DJ’s for me this year. TBF Powel’s been on it for a few years now but again this year his mixes have been fantastic.

Yant 100% agree on Powell. I haven’t given Joe Miller much air time if I’m honest. I’m not a fan of the 40 track an hour format.

Dubman Only the ones I’ve had the misfortune of listening to obvs 😕

            Joe Miller;

            Well worth checking these out.

The latest Joe Miller lacks oomph for me…. technically a v good mix but just sort of drifts along - don’t think I would remember any tracks after listening a handful of times. Whatever floats your boat at the end of the day but not for me.

              • Matt replied to this.

Wally is Joe Miller’s favourite Dj.

                Sums it up.

Jules72 I agree. I do usually enjoy his mixes, once you get past the first few minutes. I ended up turning this off before the end. Pretty dissapointing.

I mean if Blue Amazon - No Other Love in the latest one isn’t memorable, then I just dunno what to say….

Smallman1 I didn’t know he was a fan. Canny impressed since I’ve not put a mix out in a decade.

Yant Cheers, Yant. I’ll get involved over the weekend 👍

An hour into the latest Joe Miller mix and I’m listlessly drifting into the abyss…

Jules72 oh come on, all of us veterans have had at least one good Dave Seaman night (several at the Cross and Turnmills). Furthermore, some of his back in the day comps (GU and Renaissance) were excellent and Selador puts out some good stuff.

I don’t mind dave at all, he gets some pelters on here.

Awakenings is an all time great imo
