Happy new year JCers. You guys are in a lockdown and, we have just started a proper harsh one in Cyprus. (We have to text the police to get permission to leave the house). But I hear you have snow!

We’re back in action this Sunday.

If you’re new to this or wondering what it’s about, in 2020 I couldn’t do live performances and was basically starting to become known in a local scene in Newcastle upon Tyne (I run PROGRESS: ON with Alan Ruddick, Phil Littledyke and my fiancée Sophie).

We moved to Cyprus for work, intending on flying back for events and we are stuck here. I wanted to continue the connection with people in some form and learned how to do streaming from our home in Limassol.

Melodicast is a series where I share the best new music or highlight lesser known rising stars. I literally sift through hundreds of new releases to get to what you end up hearing.

I’d love it if you could join us with a tipple of your choice, we have 2 hours of fun, Smallman dances with his top off, we shut the world off. It’s the best thing I can give everyone right now and since my business is on hold this does a lot for me too.

    Very nice track right now. Seem to be having the same audio issues there’s been all year with twitch. Like there’s someone fucking about with the tempo faders. I’m hanging in tough though!

      Not having any tempo issues, but had a couple of buffering moments. Nice sounds though.

      I got to it late today but it was good. The sound quality on my phone was excellent.

      I’ve listened in to 3 now (I think) and enjoyed all. @NasserAlazzawi seems like a top lad and plays some decent music, so always happy to support that!

      Yeah. I really enjoyed Sunday too. You could tell the man was enjoying himself, and the whole production is getting slick and polished. Also enjoyed a bit of the raid afterwards.

      Anyone having Audio jumping issues - to correct this, you need to find the setting somewhere on your screen for LOW LATENCY MODE and turn it off. It’s in a Cogwheel, or Advanced Settings depending on what device you are looking on.

      It’s to do with how your ISP talks to twitch and this gives you a couple more seconds delay between you and me to give the connection some breathing space.

      Mixcloud suffers this problem sometimes but it doesn’t have the setting to correct it like Twitch does.

      Most people never get the problem, but those who do, really do!

          Harsh. Harsh but fair.

          It all depends on the stream-gods!

          Always remember this is me when I’ve not started on time trying to find the kink in the pipes…

          NasserAlazzawi I’ve mine set to low latency, Nass. It was a bit wonky during the 1st half hour but corrected itself after that anyway.

              LT42 nice one glad it’s working better.

              I meant if you hear glitches in the Audio to turn Low Latency = off and that improves it.

              the glitching video was my hardware last time not you guys.

                  NasserAlazzawi Yeah its been set to low latency since watching previous streams, didn’t know it was from your end though last week, it didn’t last that long anyway. Didn’t have a prob with any of your other streams so rave on!
