Yeah, knew it was coming. Did he land on battleworld?

Dunno, those were all Lokis. I would love Secret Wars at some point, it’s easily my favorite Marvel-book. The first one from the 80s I mean. They can never do that though, even with half the characters.

Homegrove isn’t Secret Wars going to be Avengers ⅚? That’s what the cosmic and earth based MCU building towards.

erik maybe the new one? Where Doom is a god. Well he is also in the old one too. 😅

Homegrove I expect we’ll see Doom before long. I think Kang will be the lead up to the next big bad.

Loki Episode 5 was full of easter eggs. Didn’t spot one, but Reddit was very helpful.

Homegrove spotted loads on the first watch. Going in for the 2nd now

Going all in this afternoon, booked at the Everyman in kings cross 😎

Half expecting Tom Baker to turn up in Loki….it’s gone full Dr Who 🙄

Fuck all you people who have done this to movies.

Just hit play on Disney + #blackwidow

          6/10 for Black Widow

Is Bad Batch worth investing the time?

Enjoyed Black Widow. 2 hours of decent Sunday afternoon escapism. Lots of ass shots of Johansen. Would watch another flick with Florence Pugh and David Harbour in it. Great to be back watching stuff on the big screen which bumps the score slightly 8/10

I was thinking for a film they’ve been sitting on for a year, there’s some rough editing and odd seques between scenes at the start and end. Turns out the guy who played General Ross / the secretary of state got accused of rape so they cut his part down to the bare minimum they could get away with.

            T’was a joke mate

In other news, cinemas could be in deep shit

Homegrove yep, bought it on Disney+. Really enjoyed it. Florence Pugh is great in it and I thought it was quite similar to CATWS in places

            • Dan replied to this.

Dan not really as I saw CATWS at the cinema and took the family so it cost about 40 quid all in and I only got to watch it once… i own BW now so i can watch it when i want

I’m sorry but I thought it was rehashed Dr Who with better CGI.

              • erik replied to this.

Dan tbh Jonathon Majors carried thia episiode on his own

I thought he was hamming it up a bit. Lovecraft Country proved he’s a great actor, but this felt a bit OTT.

Fan theories about the big bad were right though, so there is that.

Homegrove I watched the episode twice and the first time I thought that but I was definitely more on board with it the second. I think any actor being told to play ‘someone who has lived a million years alone and is the overlord of all time in order to protect against other versions of himself destroying the galaxy’ is gonna have a hard time of it.
