They most assuredly are not. Many are from the bar and have therefore been out of work, for the most part, for a year. It’s also the Bay Area here. $100K a year barely moves the needle.
Take issue with Biden all you want, as you do. I don’t always agree but, hey, if we agreed all the time this world would be very boring - you do you. But to say it’s a wash between him a Trump is just incorrect. Bare minimum we’re getting people in positions of influence that aren’t complete sycophants. After the past 4 years, I’ll take it. Much of what happens on the ground is never seen by the President, but is presided over by their appointees - the last 4 years were a fucking nightmare of mixed messages, flippant promises, and general incoherence. As long as Biden appoints qualified people, unlike that fat orange fuck, I’m good and will deal with the other issues next go-around.
