Dubman I watched a DJ called Gemini one time and he never touched the record once it was on the deck, just the pitch control. I didn’t get it at first but when I tried it myself I found it easier to lock the exact speeds, you just had to master the timing of the release then when queuing. Afterward whenever I’d see a DJ constantly pushing and pulling it looked naff and didn’t feel like they had total control. Horses for course though.
