Same. I’ve listened to a couple of other sets since and that Bedrock one was by far her best one (to my ears). Think she’s got music out on Anjuna so her style in general seems more geared to that label, which is not really my bag. But she definitely beefed up her sound for that Bedrock set which was cool to hear.

                Finally got to this, sorry for the delay, had a few spare hours this morning for a change.

                Really enjoyed. Has a good ebb and flow and plenty of variety of tunes, and mixes, which I think make a long mix like this interesting.

                I like the cut of your jib baggers44 , feels like you’re more arsed about playing good tunes than perfect transitions or a ‘journey’ (though both are still in there!).

                That Polar Trawler ep had your name all over it ☺️

                      Mad_Cyril It’s great having amazing transitions, but if both tracks are naff it means bugger all.

                          There’s a ‘seamless’ transition
                          There’s a transition that ‘amplifies’ the mix between two records
                          And an ‘A to B’ transition that lets the records speak for themselves

                          I think Baggers judges which to use when perfectly.

                              Mad_Cyril MC mate that’s very kind of you although there is not a huge amount of planning other than a rough sort for key and vibe. As for transitions, I can see /hear the magic in one long continuous, seamless melodic piece but like anything it gets a bit boring to do the same thing- I used to love the pro vinyl mixes where you could hear the join and the energy shift and even the mistakes and I think I prefer to hear that so at least you know I’m not syncing it ! You are right about old Cali Kula - shameless plagiarism on my part ! what a find !! I have a few tunes lined up now that I am back from hols but will continue to drop in some old ones from the vinyl pile - loving the sumsonic stuff that I had forgotten about.
