Unbroken1 …just thinking, is there room to put the speakers on desktop stands rather than standalone stands? They aren’t much prettier but at least don’t take up so much floor space

Amps Mad_Cyril It’s a bit of a pain in the arse getting decks and the like to look okay in a non studio room imo. I’ve been eyeballing one of these for a while, reckon it’s the perfect bit of interior camouflage.
Unbroken1 …said it before, but the Klipsch bookshelf speakers are worth a look, think they have powered versions too and they are mighty purdy.
Amps Mad_Cyril If you’re battling her indoors about how they look, don’t be afraid to have a local cabinet maker look at something for you. Cheaper than you would imagine and you can have the whole thing fold / hide away etc.

Dubman Put a shelf up with speakers on each end with a plant in the middle. She gets a nice plant. You get pair of speakers.
